How We're Using Our JAN HKF Sticker Club Pack

Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and we’re here to help you craft the cutest, most heartfelt matchbook Valentines using our Hello Kitty & Friends January sticker pack. This project is ridiculously adorable and so simple, you’ll want to make one for everyone in your life (and maybe a few for yourself). Let’s get started!

What You’ll Need:

Plain paper (any color you like!)
A stapler
A pen (for all those sweet Valentine’s Day notes)
Your Hello Kitty & Friends stickers (obviously!)

Step 1: Prep Your Matchbook

Start by cutting a strip of paper that’s about the same width as the sticker sheet you’ll be tucking inside. Got your strip? Great. Now fold the bottom of your paper up about half an inch. This will be the flap where everything gets secured. Next, fold the other end of the paper over itself so it’s just past the smaller fold by about a quarter of an inch. You’re already building a matchbook, and we’re proud of you.

Step 2: Insert Your Sticker Sheet

Choose the sticker sheet you want to feature inside your matchbook. We trimmed ours into a cute 2x8 strip, but feel free to customize the size to your matchbook. Slide that sticker strip into the half-inch crease you made earlier. Now grab your stapler and secure the bottom quarter-inch fold of your paper. Boom! Your sticker sheet is snug as a bug in its paper matchbook home.

Step 3: Decorate the Inside

Cover the inside with stickers from the Hello Kitty and Friends pack, we used these adorable ones from the My Melody and My Sweet Piano scratch 'n sniff sheet and it's so adorable!

Step 4: Write A Note

Time to get personal! Use a pen to write a Valentine’s Day message inside the matchbook. You can write directly on the paper or add a little slip of paper with your note and tuck it above the sticker sheet for an extra surprise.

Step 5: Decorate the Outside

This is where your Hello Kitty & Friends sticker pack shines! Cover the outside of your matchbook with your favorite stickers. We added an adorable design from the pack and a handwritten "4U" note. You can get as creative as you like—hearts, glitter, doodles, the works!

And just like that, you’ve created the cutest sticker matchbook ever. It’s simple, thoughtful, and filled with sticker love. Hand them out to your friends, family, or anyone who could use a little extra Hello Kitty magic in their day.
